About Series AD Airdraulic Cylinders:

Series “AD” Airdraulic cylinders cycle with the smooth, uniform motion characteristic of hydraulic actuation while using air pressure to supply the power for operation.

This unique cylinder adaptation consists of a double acting air cylinder coupled in tandem with a self contained hydraulic section having the pistons of each fixed to a common rod. Air actuation results in the displacement of oil from one side of the hydraulic piston to the other through a closed loop system with the maximum travel speed of the unit being a function of the fluid rate of flow.

Available valving options allow precise regulation of the travel speed in either one or both directions as desired to suit application purposes.
